Set design and production piece depicting the living room of Jane Turner. Based on a letter written by her in 1981 and found 30 years later in 2011, A Room of Her Own is an observation of interpretation with theme of construction, the found and absence at it's centre.

The piece exploits Jane’s physical absence from the frame, leaving the audible power of object and its presentation with an authentic however constructed domestic space to communicate her identity; what is left is an observation of interpretation, first impressions and the ever questionable nature of their accuracy.
